About the Course
Risk and governance are critical focus areas for every organisation – however, most organisations, regardless of size or level of sophistication are struggling to understand what risk and governance means to them and, more importantly, how to manage these areas strategically.
Most organisations tackle both risk and governance in one of two ways… they either ignore them (and hope for the best) or create a bureaucratic system to manage them. Either response is inadequate as in the event of an incident or a breach of governance there is no clear and simple framework to minimise the impact.
This course aims to explore the areas of risk and governance and then link it to an organisation’s Balanced Scorecard or other strategy management frameworks.
‘Best practice’ risk analysis methods, ‘best practice’ governance frameworks and, importantly, how to apply these best practices to any business or government organisation will be examined.
The course structure will be built around the delivery of compelling course material and using a case study example to embed this knowledge with participants.
Value Adds
Participants will walk away with a complete toolkit, including templates to aid implementation.
Who Will Benefit
All those responsible for analysing existing processes and improving the performance of existing systems/processes using measurement/ KPI setting and analysis
Executives who have either used balanced scorecard or are planning to use/work with balanced scorecard or another form of strategy mapping, measurement and evaluation.
