The inaugural conference is a first of its kind for Australian rail suppliers
Rail Suppliers 2010 is the only conference specifically for rail suppliers, dedicated to the issues facing the industry.
Developed against the backdrop of the highly successful Rail Suppliers CEO Forum at AusRail Plus 2009, this one-day program offers the unique opportunity for delegates to hear what is being done to ensure long term success for the industry, directly from their industry leaders and government officials.
Looking forward
Rail is already a $3 billion industry in Australia but there is still a wealth of untapped growth opportunities for local businesses. Rail Suppliers 2010 will offer a platform for delegates to join discussions about the plans in place to improve competitiveness on both a local and global scale, particularly with the burgeoning Chinese and Indian manufacturing industry at our doorstep.
Rail suppliers also deal with the inconvenient and expensive state-by-state dichotomy of Australian rail standards. Rail supply experts will come together to analyse the benefits and practicality of standardisation and develop strategies to champion for nationwide standards.
This conference will offer in-depth discussions on how the industry can collaboratively evolve and prosper and provide case studies from rail suppliers excelling in their field. It aims to leave delegates with a thorough understanding of where rail manufacturing is heading and the opportunities available in current markets.
Network with industry peers and get involved in discussing the issues impacting your business including:
- Rail supply as the government's first priority industry
- Strengthening the industry through standardisation
- Identifying local trade opportunities
- PPP's - Analysing the model for rail
- The value of effective customer service
