With Australia’s population tipped to exceed 35 million within the next 40 years (ABS), the upgrading of transport systems is a necessity. But with the opportunities that arise for the industry as new projects are brought online comes the responsibility of minimising the disruption to the existing surrounds and the people who inhabit them.

This forum will provide a unique opportunity for all facets of the transport sector - from construction contractors, engineers and operators to policy makers, legal counsels and academics - to hear the first-hand experiences of their industry peers in dealing with the environmental challenges that major projects present.
