Green PPPs utilising sustainability to enhance value for money

What will it be like to live in a climate change resilient city? How will we respond to hotter, more extreme climates in our building and urban spaces? How can design help to mitigate carbon emissions of entire neighbourhoods, precincts, cities?

This master-class/workshop will offer a structured approach to these issues, grouped around topics of:

  • Retrofitting buildings
  • Retrofitting city blocks
  • Retrofitting coastal edges for sea level rises:
  • Retrofitting brownfield sites
  • Retrofitting urban spaces for changes in weather
  • Retrofitting urban infrastructure

Participants will be able to select their own topic of interest and work in groups to explore and test solutions around these options. Real sites will be used and base plans will be made available.
