Faced with an ageing population, the number of people aged 65 years and over in Australia will increase by 111 per cent between 2006 and 2036. The employment sector, national infrastructure and aged health and community care services will be severely impacted by this changing social demographic.

What innovative and practical models exist to meet the challenges ahead?

How is the global situation affecting planning for an older population?

The 5th Annual Australia's Ageing Population Summit will explore these questions as you spend a solid two days of learning and networking with industry experts. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join the decision makers to discuss and debate the issues surrounding community planning and housing, to assess strategies for the aged healthcare system and to look at future challenges and solutions to accomodate an ageing population.

Joining us on the speaker faculty are:

  • The Hon. Justine Elliot MP, Minister for Ageing
