Now in its 2nd year, the National Learning and Teaching Forum plans a program packed with fresh perspectives on the drivers of change and innovation in our learning environments and the role of the modern teacher.

The National Learning and Teaching Forum convenes practitioners and academic leaders from across the tertiary sector to discuss the underpinnings of learning and teaching strategy that is innovative, engaging and evidence based.

The two-day agenda is designed to equip delegates with up-to-date knowledge on new approaches in learning and teaching and to discuss new strategies and current issues on the development and implementation of educational programs.

The agenda is currently under development and the speaker faculty is soon to be confirmed. Leaders in learning and teaching from universities, VET and business stakeholders will discuss the following key topics:

• Development and implementation of curriculum design
• Learning and teaching academic standards
• Quality assurance and enhancement
• The new learning and teaching performance indicators
• The role of creative learning and teaching environments
• Collaborative environments and learning commons
• Impact of technology on the tertiary learning environment
