Mr Reidy, who previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer Infrastructure Services and a number of different leadership roles at Downer EDI will continue to implement KiwiRail’s transformation strategy initiated by his predecessor. Attendees at the 2014 NZ Rail conference, to be held on the 17-18 June in Auckland will be able to hear about the next phase in the transformation program from the CEO himself.

The panel will also discuss the responsibilities of those leading the industry into the future of ensuring the future infrastructure facilitates the effective and efficient development of NZ.

“I am honoured to have this opportunity to lead people within KiwiRail and to continue the transformation strategy which will enable the business to play an important part in the future growth of New Zealand as it has done over the last 150 years”, Mr Reidy said at the time of his appointment.
