Kleber Silva is the Head of Iron Ore Mining at Arcelor Mittal Global. Previously, he was the general manager of mining operations in Brazil. Prior to joining the group in 2006, he held the same position at the Brazilian mining company CVRD.
From 1997 to 1999 Mr Silva was mine planning and operations specialist at Québec Cartier Mining Company in Canada, which has become part of the ArcelorMittal group.
Mr Silva holds a degree in mining engineering from Ouro Preto School of Mines, Brazil, and a master’s in mining from the Paris School of Mines, France.
Mr Silva will address the 6th annual IMM Americas Iron Ore conference that will be held in Rio de Janeiro on November 11 and 12 at the Windsor Atlantica. He will discuss ArcelorMittal’s iron ore operations in North and South America. For more information please check the conference website.
