In an interview with Bloomberg in late 2012, Andrew Mitchell of Wood Mackenzie predicted that in 2013 we may “see what one would call a balanced [Nickel] market. Andrew joined Brook Hunt, now Wood Mackenzie, as a mining analyst in July 1995. Andrew is Head of Nickel Research and is the author of the Nickel Industry Cost Service and the Global Nickel and Intermediates Service. Andrew has been covering the nickel industry for over ten years.
Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Andrew worked as a development metallurgist for Billiton and Johnson Matthey on both mineral processing and pyrometallurgy process development and optimisation.
Andrew hold an honours degree in Mineral Processing Technology and a PhD from the Camborne School of Mines, UK.
