overview

The 33rd Annual Medico Legal Congress is Australia’s premiere medico-legal event and a highlight on the calendar of the nation’s medico-legal professionals.

Whether your interest lies in a particular area of healthcare such as emergency care, obstetrics, cosmetics, dentistry, or psychedelic medicine; or coming from a plaintiff or defence background. The 2024 event will seek to cover the topics of utmost importance of the year angling for debate, reform, and case-study-based learnings for prevention of said medico-legal issues.

Attended by national clinicians, general and legal counsels, Medico Legal advisers, senior-level national and local hospital representatives, indemnity insurers, national law firms, government departments, AHPRA representatives, Medico Legal societies, and universities. The agenda is put together from research, your feedback, and suggestions. We welcome you to provide your input on what you think should be within the program.
