Tasmania has long been touted as a potential location for the development of large scale data centers. 2025 is the year when a combination of factors is turning this vision into reality.
The factors include:

  • New connectivity to regional availability zones
  • Access to power and grid
  • Growth of AI Economy and changing use cases for data centers

Energy Estate is developing two new cables from California and India which will land in Tasmania and complement the existing connectivity and capacity from Marinus Link. Testimonials

Northern Tasmanian Investment Conference was for us, a huge success. It was an absolute credit to the BBAMZ and the organisors. We now all wait and hope that the State and Federal Governments come to the realisation of the potential and benefits that can be provided for Tasmania and the country, by the major companies involved in the Bell Bay initiative. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Northern Tasmanian Investment Conference was a great opportunity to meet local industry people from a range of backgrounds, and learn about new projects and aspirations. It was also an enjoyable event for networking and general social interactions. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Northern Tasmanian Investment Conference was excellent! The host was fantastic to encourage conversation with the panel discussions as well as passionate speakers updating the market on all major projects within Tasmania. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The feedback I have received from industry was that it was the best conference they had been to that illustrated what was happening on the ground and having the decision makers in the room to network with. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a great introduction to the BBAMZ ecosystem. We will come in force next year. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Conference provided outstanding information on the expected growth of Bell Bay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Its important to have the industrial community come together to talk and update each other on developments. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Its a very relevant conference with upcoming projects in Tasmania and a good chance to network. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Regional location = captive audience – this is good for BD ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The conference was good and I got value due to me recently returning from WA and catching up on the developments and potential developments of the Bell Bay area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A unique forum for people with a common interest in Bell Bay to network. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
