Lesley Campbell worked for a number of ring-dealing members between 1980 and 2000. She advised multinational companies on risk management, including a major car manufacturer and one of the world’s largest copper mines. Since she set up her own consultancy, Lesley has advised the World Bank and the United Nations on commodity-related projects, as well as a number of small and medium sized companies concerned by the increasing volatility in financial markets. Lesley’s career took a brief detour in 2000 when she wrote a financial thriller called ‘Forged Metal’ on international commodity trading. After working as a consultant for two years, Lesley joined the London Metal Exchange in January 2012 and is based in Singapore where she runs courses in the Asia Pacific region.
Lesley will deliver a keynote address at the inaugural Asia Copper Conference, on the 29 – 30 July 2013. Her speaking topic is: The Future of Futures – What does the LME offer metal companies today and what will it be offering in ten years’ time?
