The personally controlled electronic health records (PCEHR) system was launched nationally in July 2012 and is a key element of the Commonwealth government’s national health reform agenda.
The conference will focus on the journey of eHealth adoption, PCEHR connectivity, consumer engagement and registration. The program will examine case studies of consumer experiences of the PCEHR to demonstrate the benefits of successful adoption of eHealth, including improved health care for patients.
Attendees will gain PCEHR experience from the eCollaboratives, knowledge around the legal framework and learn how the National Prescribe and Dispense Repository (NPDR) integrates with the PCEHR.
The program is currently in development and we are currently calling for papers and ideas for the program. If you are interested in presenting at the summit and becoming part of the agenda, contact Tina.Karas@informa.com.au.
