20 – 21 March 2019 | Crown Perth

This event marks a key industry gathering & networking opportunity not to be missed!

Co-located with the 22nd Annual Global Iron Ore & Steel Forecast Conference and the 20th Mineral Sands Conference. One registration provides access to all three events.

A global shift is underway as countries legislate an end to internal combustion vehicle sales and the automotive industry prepares for the next generation of electric vehicles to hit the roads with 2025 pegged as the tipping point in EV uptake as their costs dip below conventional vehicles, causing demand to surge.

While opinion is divided on whether battery metals markets will see over or undersupply, more and more companies are doubling down and looking to tap into the lucrative downstream processing markets, as exemplified by the WA Government’s Lithium Taskforce which seeks to establish Australia as a global battery chemical hub.

Building on 2018’s highly successful inaugural event, the Lithium & Battery Metals Conference returns to the Crown Perth this March 20-21 for a comprehensive 2-day summit; featuring in-depth analysis of current and future markets, updates from battery metals projects large and small, commentary from government officials and industry experts, and an increased focus on Australia’s downstream value add potential.

This event forms part of the Minerals & Investment Week and will take place at the same time as the 22nd Global Iron Ore & Steel Forecast Conference, and the 20th Mineral Sands Conference.
