Despite the impact of COVID-19 on immigration rates, Australia’s school age population continues to rise, presenting a multitude of challenges. Join us on November 8 at the Radisson Blu, Sydney, for the NSW School Planning Conference. Hear from leading experts and network with industry contacts across all industries involved in school planning.
From 2011 to 2021, total school enrolments in NSW have increased by over 50,000 and this growth will continue. This is greatest in primary schools and of these, schools with more than 700 students have experienced the greatest growth. This has resulted in significant pressure on existing school infrastructure and the need for efficiently delivered new schools that not only accommodate these students, but reflect modern teaching principles and respond to spatial constraints. The recent announcement of Universal Pre-Kindergarten presents another challenge for the coming years as schools prepare for the rollout of this landmark investment into early childhood education.
