Australia is well positioned to be a leading destination for early phase clinical trials – currently commencing over 1000 new trials each year. But how can we further capitalise on this opportunity?
Bio Connections Australia returns in November this year! This national event, designed to foster the growth of early phase clinical research in Australia, comes at a critical time for Australia’s medical research sector. This year will see a comprehensive focus on early phase clinical trials in Australia, translational research, expediting Australia’s great science into commercialisation as well as exploring how Australia might capture the opportunity to become a world leader in future medical research as asserted by the Federal Health Minister earlier this year.
Minister Hunt has said that Australia is in a prime position to become a leader in future medical research and clinical trials due to its handling of the coronavirus crisis. The President of the Australian Association of Medical Research Institutes (AAMRI) agreed that we have a golden opportunity to attract new medical research, technology and clinical trials to Australia and added that there was also an opportunity to grow pandemic-related research and other areas.
The health and safety of our delegates, speakers and staff is our top priority. That is why Bio Connections will now run as a digitally delivered event. You will still have access to the same great content, hear from leading experts, unique networking and business development opportunities with key decisions makers including the ability to directly ask questions and engage virtually all from the safety and comfort of your own home or workplace anywhere in the world.
Bio Connections Australia provides an important platform for further discussion and debate on what the challenges, opportunities and realities may be.
