We are delighted to announce the agenda for the inaugural Barkly Regional Resources & Economic Development Conference. The conference, supported by the Northern Territory Government, comes at a time of abundant opportunities for resources exploration in the Region, for infrastructure projects and agribusiness consolidation.

The two day program will cover all areas of future investment in the area. Featuring presentations by over 20 Ministers, CEO’s, Directors and Government Heads, the event will showcase the potential of the Barkly Region.

The NAIF offers up to $5 billion in debt or alternative financing
mechanisms, which may be on concessional terms, to benefit
northern Australia. The presentation will provide an update on the
activities and progress of the NAIF over its first year of operation and
it will discuss the role of the NAIF in being a key catalyst for longer
term transformation, economic and population growth across the
north, particularly in the Northern Territory, including for example
opening up new market opportunities and assisting the development
of new, more resilient and reliable supply chains.
