Back for 2012 after a successful launch event, IIR's PNG Mining & Logistics Conference focuses on theextensive development activities and investment opportunities in Papua New Guinea's diverse and rapidly expanding mining sector.

This year's event will be exploring the logistical issues faced by the resources sector in PNG from a more practical point of view with the industry-lead agenda featuring an array of case studies and project updates, focusing heavily on:

  • Transport and drilling logistics
  • Infrastructure in remote and rigorous terrain
  • Engagement issues unique to working in PNG
  • Supply chain and economic drivers of growth
