Assessing Technical Innovation in Iron Ore Processing

IIR Conferences 3nd Annual FeTech Conference is well timed to explore the upgrading and beneficiation of lower grade ore for export markets.

Magnetite and other alternative ores - previously thought uneconomic to mine - can make money, with companies studying ways to improve the processing of lower grade magnetite and high impurity ore deposits.

Innovation in the processing of alternative ores is to be a major focus of FeTech 2012, with approaches to high phosphorus ore, access to infrastructure, pricing projections and company updates also a major part of the agenda.
