Transport Infrastructure Workforce

The Federal Government predicts that:
- Australia will face a shortage of over 200,000 skilled workers over the next five years and a lack of 240,000 workers by 2015
- Over the next 40 years the number of Australians over 65 will double
- During this stage, workforce participation rate is expected to decline from 64.5 per cent to 57 per cent
