Untitled Document

Informa is the largest organiser of transport and rail conferences in Australasia. It is the proud organiser of the Australasian Railway Associations (ARA) annual AusRAIL event, which is the focal forum for the rail industry and attracts over 4,000 attendees in its PLUS year.

Through this link with the ARA, Informa also organises a number of significant rail conferences including Heavy Haul Rail and the Rail Suppliers Forum.

Informa also works on behalf of The Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) to create the longstanding Rail Safety Conference, as well as Rail Turnouts, and Derailment Practical Analysis Workshops.

Informa's expertise in the provision of rail conferences is unmatched. It is also behind the Global Railway Industry Event series which runs a number of growing events across the world.

Informa is also very active in the maritime industry producing the biennial International Harbour Masters Congress on behalf of the International Harbour Masters Association (IHMA), and also works on behalf of the Company of Master Mariners of Australia to create their biennial Congress. The Port & Maritime Security Conference has been running since 2003, and the annual Regional Ports Conference had developed into a pivotal program showcasing Australia’s key trade gateways, that draws support from all corners of the industry.

Our upcoming transport conferences are listed below. For more information about a full list of transport events, please contact Tim Bostridge.
