The 2nd annual Integrated Cancer Centres Symposium comes at a time when excellence in healthcare quality and services is high on the public agenda. With the Government’s recent commitment to provide $560 million dollars in funding to improve and develop cancer centres across regional and rural Australia, the symposium will provide a timely platform for discussing the issues surrounding the planning, development and operation of quality cancer centres.
The 2010 agenda will reflect the need for state-of-the-art cancer centres across Australia as well as showcasing best-practice strategies for delivering quality treatment facilities and services through case study presentations. The symposium will see major stakeholder groups convene to discuss solutions for improving the cancer patient’s journey.
The two-day agenda will feature leading practitioners who will provide invaluable insight into cancer care projects and integrated, multidisciplinary care initiatives.
Featuring insightful and practical case studies from:
- Parkville Comprehensive Cancer Centre
- Hunter New England Regional Cancer Centre
- Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre
- National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre
- Alfred Health
- Biogrid Australia
