Mark Kelly, Leader of Education and Sustainability at Woods Bagot architects in conjunction with Chris Sheargold, Associate Vice Chancellor, Australian Catholic University will discuss the realisation of a sustainable vision for the new National Centre for Health and Wellbeing. The Centre, to be built on the Australian Catholic University’s Melbourne city campus on Victoria Parade, will be a low-energy use research and teaching facility that will aim to create new standards in energy efficiency design, while providing an attractive social and working environment. It is designed to integrate general teaching and high-level research by enhancing collaboration and creativity. A rooftop garden and wind turbines characterise this innovative project.
